About

Eva Stenram is an artist who employs image manipulation in order to explore photography as a medium of flux and transformation. In addition to creating her own photographs, Stenram often utilises and incorporates found imagery in order to unsettle the original functions of familiar photographic genres. Stenram's recent projects have explored our contemporary relationship to technology, human habitation, and the landscape. Her subjects have included pornography, CCTV, travel photography, NASA images and the family album. Photography's imaginary and fictional status is emphasised.
